BFS Fleet Service is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Light-Duty Automotive Technician / Service Specialist to join our team.
If you take pride in your work, enjoy diagnosing and repairing vehicles, and want a Monday-Friday schedule, we’d like to meet you.

Pay and Benefits:
- $25–$40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends.

What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose and repair cars, vans, pickups, and light-duty commercial vehicles.
- Perform preventive maintenance and brake, steering, suspension, engine, cooling system, and electrical repairs.
- Use diagnostic equipment and service information to identify problems accurately.
- Complete digital vehicle inspections with clear findings, notes, and photos.
- Document repairs and communicate additional service needs to the service advisor.
- Work with our shop foreman and service team to complete quality repairs efficiently.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous professional experience as an automotive or light-duty technician.
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
- A dependable work ethic and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Your own professional hand tools.
- A valid driver’s license.
- ASE certifications and a New York State inspector’s license are a plus.
